Tell us a little bit about your journey as a young and developing artist. As a young and developing artist, I have experienced much growth through my journey. I have always been interested in art since I was a little child, as both my parents have either sketched in their free time, or done crafty projects. As I grew older, I realized art was always an outlet for me, as it never stressed me out or was forced into my life. I soon became deeply invested into art, taking it more seriously through One River classes. Which has been your favorite project to work on at One River and why? Originally focusing my creativity through the mediums of ceramics and photography, I, now, am a practicing writer. I have been working in and adjacent to the education sector for 7 years. I aim to create a space for blossoming artists to flourish while developing a sense of community at One River by providing exceptional customer care. When I was two and a half my parents decided to migrate to the U.S. Most of my childhood was about trying to adapt to a new environment and culture. Art never felt like I needed to fit in or be something, it allowed me to simply be who I was and embrace all. It has taught me to be patient and to always go within to connect with my own Spirit and God. I received my B.F.A from Laguna College of Art and Design.
