Transforming Art Education®

The One River School story began in 2012 when Founder Matt Ross, drawing on his experience helping build and scale The School of Rock music school franchise, set out to reshape art education. 

Since opening our first location in Englewood, NJ, One River has expanded to 15 locations nationwide and more coming soon, inspiring thousands of students of all ages through hands-on art, digital design, and world-class summer camps.

Our Method

Inspired by contemporary art, One River created an original product menu and curriculum where students learn from living artists while building real skills and become part of a creative community.

Agnes Mauro, CEO, joined One River at its inception and helped launch the first flagship school. Over more than 15 years in arts education and business leadership, she has guided the company’s evolution into a scalable franchise platform, developing The One River Method: a proven blueprint for building economically strong, culturally relevant art schools.
