Tell us a little bit about you and your background. I am an art instructor and concept artist for animation.   Tell us a bit about your role at One River I am instructor and a product manager.  I am part of the educational board and help to build curriculum and provide resources for instructors to aid them  in class. How long have you been a student at One River? I started taking summer camps here in the summer of 2023, and classes that following spring   Tell us a little bit about your journey as an artist. Though my exact goals for being an animator have shifted from being in the story time scene when that was big, to AMVs (animated music videos) and animatics, to fully fledged short films and narratives, I’ve always wanted that for myself since I started making art around 2017~18. How long have you been a student at One River? Almost 1 year.  I started in the 3–5 program when I was in 2nd grade taking Art Focus: Cartooning because I like making comics. I also take Digital Art Shuffle. I wasn’t sure what it would be like but now it’s my favorite class.   Tell us a little bit about your journey as an artist. I like to make things. I’ve always made a lot of art at home by painting, drawing, sculpting and building. When I was younger I built a tiny house out of cardboard with everything a real house needs like a chimney, TV remote, microwave, flowers and a pet named Chomper. Student Showcase: Melody T.

Melody has been a student a One River Clark for 4 years and in the Portfolio Development class for about 2 years. When asked if the Portfolio Development class has improved her art, and how, she said “Absolutely.
