Tell us a little bit about your journey as a developing artist.

I have been dabbling around with creating art since a young age. I also took a few courses on drawing and watercolors in college. After I started working, I decided to commit myself to learning and creating art regularly and hence joined the One River School. It has been a great journey of learning so far!

Which has been your favorite project to work on at One River and why?

The most favorite projects for me are the ones where I have had to use new techniques such as palette knives, stippling and grayscale themes. They seem impossible but turn out great in the end!

Describe One River in 3 words and tell us why

Fun, Challenging and Refreshing! There is always something new to learn and regardless of how my day has been I always go back feeling cheerful.

What would you tell people who’ve never dabbled in art making are the real benefits to trying it?

I think that most of us spend a lot of time consuming content such as shows, social media etc. Art makes you think in different ways and offers an outlet to let out your creativity. So regardless of the skill level, trying art in my opinion has huge benefits.
