Labor Day: Dream Big Dreams
In honor of Labor Day, I thought that I would share some thoughts about this holiday. When I was a kid, I hated it! Summer is over and back to school! Ugh. When I became a parent, I started to love it because it allowed me to slide back into the predictable schedule that my kids AND I needed.
Labor Day’s origins trace back to the late 19th century when labor activists advocated for a day to recognize the social and economic achievements of workers. So, I want to recognize the hard work and amazing contributions that my team has made all summer long at our summer camps. And as we shift to fall, we are so excited to welcome students of ALL AGES back to One River School, where the fun and compelling creative experience drives us.
The fall creates an opportunity to start fresh and Dream Big Dreams. Dreaming is essentially tied to the creative process, and it allows us to challenge ourselves to think differently. We remain inspired to continue to do great work on behalf of our community so let us know how we can help your transition into September and how we could help you and your growth plans.
