Overview: Students create a mixed media work inspired by the work of JJ Manford, combining representational drawing, colored pencil drawing, color gradient acrylic painting, and collage.

Essential Skills: Use of objects to show personal meaning. Use of color to show emotion. Bright color gradients as a background for figurative scenes. Practice layering both abstract patterns and representational objects/places.
