Natural Elements & Textures

Overview: Students create three studies of natural objects and their textures as an exploration of a final piece. They then select 1 piece to take to the final.

Essential Skills: Learn the qualities of charcoal, chalk, and inks. Gain experience in drawing natural textures. Learn to use gradients and layering to create spatial distinctions.
