One of the greatest joys I have had in my career has been creating business ownership opportunities within the arts.

Almost twenty years ago, I joined the School of Rock as CEO. We quickly began franchising and to this day I have maintained such amazing relationships with our earliest franchise partners who were inspired to bring that concept to their community. Today, I am thrilled to announce that we are about to dramatically grow the One River School network, and I anticipate significant expansion across the United States over the next three years.

Today, we operate 15 locations and 11 of them are owned and operated units. We started to franchise prior to Covid, but quickly made a strategic decision to pause new franchise partnerships given the state of the world at that time. As a result, we put our time, money and effort refining how to build the most compelling schools and now that we have documented exactly how to create excellence, I am excited to help our partners create a unique business that they will love to operate.
