Teen Artists in the House

The image you’re looking at was taken last week on a random pop-in at One River School in Larchmont, NY. It is also indicative of what’s happening at each of our locations.

We have been able to create a new method that is inspiring teens artists to have more fun and make more compelling artwork than ever before. You could see the focus in their eyes…their brains are stimulated and they are growing and learning in a way that will serve them for life.

Each one of these artists are making a unique object in this particular class and that is a really unique experience that we love to provide. There are classes for all ranges of experience… beginner to advanced. Some of our most serious students take 2 to 3 classes a week and this is their most favorite part of their life.

It makes me so proud to know that we are making a difference.

Matt Ross

Matt Ross is the Founder of One River School of Art + Design. Since 2012, One River has grown from one location in Englewood, NJ to fifteen schools in six states with a goal to “transform art education” across America. Prior to One River School, Matt was the CEO of School of Rock, where he built the company into the world leader in music education for kids. Prior to his experience with School of Rock, Matt held a variety of management positions in broadcasting, working for diverse media companies such as Clear Channel, CBS and Viacom. He is also active in promoting Autism awareness and supporting emerging artists and is passionate about collecting Contemporary Art with a focus on painting, mixed media and drawing.
