Tell us a little bit about your journey as a young and developing artist.

I’ve always been very artistic from a young age and enjoyed sketching and was always interested in design. I originally wanted to be an architect but I realized that math was not my strong suit and that it’s necessary for that profession. Nowadays I want to become a fashion designer and eventually create my own line of upcycled repurposed clothing. My ability to draw has helped me to map out some of my ideas involving fashion.

Which has been your favorite project to work on at One River and why?

The fashion design project has been my favorite because it has helped me develop my passion for fashion design.

How would you describe One River to your friends?

One River is a very good school that has helped me hone my artistic skills. The ambiance of the building puts me in a creative mindset.

What would you tell people who’ve never dabbled in art making are the real benefits to trying it?

I think that everyone’s inner creativity is something that should be pushed just to see how far you can go and art is a great outlet to channel that creativity.
