This Week…Plan Your Plan
Every year there is something great about the week before Labor Day and something that I also find modestly unsettling. I guess that’s normal human behavior given the fact that summer seems to be grinding to a halt, while September brings a greater sense of seriousness as people head back to school and dive back into work with greater consistency.
I always like to take this moment to reset how I’m looking at the next 3 to 6 months to make sure that I’ve got my plan tightened up, my priorities in place and that I could focus on the right things the right way. At the same time, I also make sure that I don’t let the joy of summer slip away completely. So, I’m continuing to book important personal and social items on my calendar, including spending time doing creative things like writing, drawing and playing some music. I’m also focused on getting out of the house and checking out more cultural things in the fall, like attending museums and gallery openings and some theater and other events.
Don’t let the end of summer mess with your head! Plan your plan. Keep the vibe going from summer and make sure you invest time in your personal growth by doing something creative.
