Tell us a little bit about you and your background.

I graduated from William Paterson University with a B.A. in media & film production in May of 2018 and have been interested in the arts since a very young age. I have always had a love for movies and storytelling and I always loved creating many different projects/stories within the mediums of film, digital animation, and theatre. I continue to create animated stories, but I always love learning new tricks to help tell a new story.

What attracted you to work at One River School?

From a very young age I have always been drawn to many different forms of art and One River School felt like a great community for kids, teens and adults who want to dive deeper in their creative journey and their love for art.

How would you describe your team?

My team at One River Allendale has always been a very collaborative group that values open communication, mutual respect, and innovation. Our environment is supportive and inclusive, fostering creativity and continuous improvement.

What do you think we do best at One River?

I think we build a very welcoming community at One River. Not only with our members and families, but with our teachers and admin staff. Each teacher at One River has a very unique artistic background and I enjoy learning more about their inspirations and techniques.

Is there a special One River moment that stands out for you?

There are many moments at One River that have stuck out to me, but one in particular was something that happened not too long ago.

There was a student in my Kids Digital class who had just graduated from a K-2 Art Shuffle class and was learning digital art for the very first time. Although it was very frustrating for him at first, he fell in love with animation and works outside of school every single week and makes a new animation on his iPad. He gets so excited when he shows me all of the new projects he has made.

Who or what motivates you?

There are many filmmakers that inspire me to create stories in different genres such as: Wes Anderson, Edgar Wright, Christopher Nolan, Stephen Spielberg, George Lucas, Matthew Vaughn, and Steven Hillenberg.

What do you enjoy outside of One River?

Outside of One River I am a huge movie & TV nerd. I also love to go to the beach with my girlfriend and spend time with my family and friends.
