What will 2022 be like?
There are so many answers to the question above. The truth is, a lot of uncontrollable thoughts can creep into your frontal lobe and get the best of you. Don’t let it happen.
Here’s my prescription:
- Write down five things that you want to happen next year that will make you happier
- Write down five things that you want to happen that would make you less stressed
- Write down five things that you want to happen that will drive your personal growth and development.
It’s often easier to make a list of things you want and things that are stressing you out. But, how do you get better, smarter, more thoughtful and more equipped to power your life? You have to spend time identifying your growth opportunities.
I just signed up for a couple of online courses and I’m focused on a couple of creative projects. These specific commitments will allow me to spend time challenging my brain and challenging myself to think differently via learning and the creative process.
Do it. This will make a huge difference in your life. Yes, there’s a lot of noise in the world . . . politics, pandemics, and so many other issues. Focus on your concerns and the things you can control.
And, develop a growth mindset.
