Peyton Manning

Yesterday Peyton Manning became the oldest starting quarterback to lead his team to the Super Bowl. He will be 40 in March…wouldn’t it be amazing if Peyton Manning wins it! Lets face it, we love to see our matinee stars ride off into the sunset and there could be no greater ending than watching Peyton beat Brady and Newton in his final battles.
Very few people in sports or public life carry themselves with the class Peyton has demonstrated. And for mere mortals like most of us, it is unfathomable to think about playing football after three neck surgeries!!!
I try to write about creativity or inspirational things in my Monday Thoughts. I know sports is an overhyped part of our society, but Peyton Manning represents all that is good about it. And, hopefully he has one more special Sunday ahead of him in two weeks.
PS: The boy can act too! I had to throw something creative in here…check out this hysterical SNL short he did about ten years ago….
