Ah, now that I got your attention, I am not talking politics. I would never be so crazy to go there in this forum! But, I do want to talk about something that fascinates me about all of the people who run for office: the conviction to do what they do. Sometimes I just stop and say “why do they choose to do this with their life?”

When I step back and think about this, I realize that I am always fascinated about what motivates people to passionately do things that I don’t do. Often it is in the context of hobbies and recreational choices…Cooking, Boating, Cycling, Gardening and so on…there are so many people that find great joy in certain hobbies that I don’t participate in.

Your time is precious. What you do to pay the bills is one thing and where you find your down time to learn, grow and challenge yourself to be creative is another. I am on a campaign of my own and that is to facilitate a new joy for creativity and I am running for that office.
