Holiday Zen

One of the things I find amazing is the way we process things and often create dual messages out of concepts that really ought to have a singular meaning. This clearly applies to the holiday season and I thought it would be cool to share a Monday Thought about this.

Quite often the holidays conjure up emotions that are difficult to deal with. While we all want to spend the season as happy as possible, we all have to fight through the basic emotions of reflecting on things that are not so perfect and issues that often are unresolved…whether real or imagined. Here is a cool link that does a nice job of framing some great holiday thoughts that are inspirational and practical at the same time. A sneak peak:

I started One River School over two years ago because I find my greatest peace and inspiration through helping others enjoy life more by doing creative things. This holiday season is a chance for me to reflect on our success and the inspiration we have received by watching people do special things. Happy Holidays to you and yours.
