Meet Gabby

Doing what I do at One River, I come across many amazing students who exemplify the essence of One River School. This week I would like to showcase Gabby, a very talented and inspirational student in our Teen Art Program.
Last August, Gabby and her father Eduardo (whom we have grown to love as well) signed up before we opened at a street promotion we were doing in Englewood. Gabby, like many mature young ladies, was 13 and desperately needing an art program that would allow her to truly develop her creative, conceptual and technical abilities. You can only go so far in a 45 minute class at school.
One year later, Gabby and her classmates are astounding me. Our Teen Art Shuffle Plus classes have become a community for the coolest kids in Northern, NJ and it is an inspiration for me to walk around this class and watch our faculty and kids working together to push the boundaries.
