One of our adult students came up to me last week and said that One River was a “game changer.”  We work hard to keep our ego in check, but we are very proud to receive the praise and thought we needed to check in on what that exactly meant.Webster defines Game Changer as “a newly introduced element or factor that changes an existing situation or activity in a significant way.”  Ahhh…the last two weeks we have run perhaps the most compelling student art exhibitions ever held, received great press and this truly was a game changing experience.Our High School Competition received rave reviews from world-class art jurors and the press.  The One River Student Exhibition presented artwork with depth and breath that made me very proud of the work my staff and our students have created this year.It is a blessing running a business with a high level of purpose and I am grateful that we are almost through our first year with some real successes under our belt.  We have a lot of greatsummer programs and will have our fall classes and exhibitions announced next week.  Lots of cool things on the horizon!
