Our Youngest Students are the Most Inspirational!

I am so grateful for the response to our Student Show this past Friday night. Hundreds of adults, teens and kids who attend One River School came out to see their artwork side by side with their peers.

One of the coolest things is seeing the really young kids at the show. Chloe Olesinksi has been attending our school since she was 4 years old. Look at the amazing work she did…. It’s based on a lesson we wrote about Kara Walker and it serves as a wonderful reminder that we are not only providing a cool place to learn art, but creating connections with contemporary artists in a way that hasn’t existed before.

Now that we have proven little kids can make cool art, we are taking their work on the road! We are exhibiting 50 artworks from our K-2 students at the Garden State Plaza and the opening is this Friday at 6PM. Please come check it out.

Here’s to the next generation of great artists…in their smallest and cutest possible form!
