During summer camps at One River, I have a chance to meet new students who are here for the first time and I often walk away completely inspired by them. Sometimes it is their energy, sometimes it is the artwork, sometimes it is their intellect and sometimes it is all of the above.
I walked into one of our studios on Tuesday to catch Liana Shtern working overtime on her project. She was in the process of creating a cool diptych and we started to chat about the project, her approach, her commitment to doing something cool and the fun she was having.
I have such a sense of pride when I see someone so excited with so much potential at such a young age. I often talk about the “joy of doing” and the “joy of sharing.” This is what One River is about. We are thrilled to have people making cool work here at One River and I am certain this is just the beginning of Liana doing great things. Our team has great pride in our ability to help her and so many other cool creative teens in our community.
