So much work has gone into building One River in our first year but nothing is as important as what we are doing this Friday.

Please join us as we host our first ever High School Competition from 6-10PM. The event will feature almost fifty student artists from the following high schools: Cresskill, Dwight Englewood, Tenafly and both Northern Valley Regional High Schools. I am thrilled to have esteemed college professors and world class artists Clint Jukkala and John O’Connor as jurors for the event at One River Gallery.

This will be the coolest place to be in Bergen County on Friday. Come out and show some love. Nothing better than looking into the eyes of our future stars…and looking at their artwork as well!

Matt Ross

Matt Ross is the Founder of One River School of Art + Design. Since 2012, One River has grown from one location in Englewood, NJ to fifteen schools in six states with a goal to “transform art education” across America. Prior to One River School, Matt was the CEO of School of Rock, where he built the company into the world leader in music education for kids. Prior to his experience with School of Rock, Matt held a variety of management positions in broadcasting, working for diverse media companies such as Clear Channel, CBS and Viacom. He is also active in promoting Autism awareness and supporting emerging artists and is passionate about collecting Contemporary Art with a focus on painting, mixed media and drawing.
