Tell us a little bit about you and your background.

Growing up in Florida, my earliest artistic interest was in dance. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts where I concentrated in ceramics. After relocating to New Jersey with my husband, dance and ceramics remained as a focus of my creative activities. I built a career in management where I educated and developed talent, maintained customer loyalty, and effectively led teams to accomplish personal and corporate goals. As part of a desire to return back to my love of art, I found One River. I hope to help associates experience the best possible work environment, provide students of all ages the opportunity to explore art in a fun way, and continue to strengthen the relationship between the school and the community. 

What attracted you to work at One River School?

I was drawn to One River because of its story. The school’s mission and values align with my own. The culture reflects a genuine commitment to creativity, community, and meaningful connection. Being surrounded by art and working closely with artists every day is inspiring and fulfilling.  

How would you describe your team?

My team is passionate, dedicated, and truly invested in what they do. They bring energy and heart to their work. 

What do you think we do best at One River?

I think One River does best developing a thoughtful curriculum, lesson plans and project outcomes. Everything is intentionally designed to support both teachers and students in a way that encourages creativity, structure, and real artistic growth.

Is there a special One River moment that stands out for you?

One moment that stands out to me at One River was the outcome and the showing of support at our student exhibition. Watching students light up as they explained their artwork to family and friends was wonderful. 

Who or what motivates you?

I am motivated by passing time with like-minded people who enjoy the experience of art. 

What do you enjoy outside of One River?

Outside of One River, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our rabbits, caring for my plants, reading a good book, and relaxing outdoors. I really value those quiet, grounding moments- they help me recharge and stay balanced.
