No matter where you live, this summer from coast to coast offers a variety and abundance of amazing art exhibitions.

The Museum of Modern Art recently opened a retrospective from Georgia O’Keeffe featuring abstract works on paper that is high on my list. In Chicago, the Art Institute will offer another look at Vincent van Gogh, specifically focusing on paintings he made in Paris in the 1880s.

I love the idea of traveling and visiting a museum that’s not in my hometown to tap into my sense of curiosity and to see how people across America appreciate art making.
