Over the last two weeks, we have opened new exhibitions in our Allendale and Montclair locations celebrating the work of Mary Devincentis. I am enamored with Mary’s artwork and after watching her connect with students at our schools, I’m a huge fan of her as a person as well.

I started following Mary on Instagram a couple of years ago and became intrigued with the imagery she presented in her paintings. Her use of color embedded with mysterious subject matter makes me think deeply about the messages in her paintings.

Artwork comes in so many shapes, size and colors, but I rarely see contemporary artists stretching the boundaries the way that Mary does. Recently Art Forum Magazine wrote about her and I am thrilled to see Mary starting to get some recognition for her practice.
