Ted Gahl Comes to One River School

At One River School we teach in a compelling way that sets kids on the right track and gives adults a fresh approach to growing their skills. We could never be great without presenting world-class art right here in our space. It shows our community what is current, what is relevant and what we think is potentially important in the art world.

Ted Gahl is the embodiment of the type of artist that we care about. He is real — he cares about his peers — he works his tail off — he is constantly evolving and he practices art the way it is supposed to be practiced — and he is from New Jersey! Always cool to show a homeboy!

Matt Ross

Matt Ross is the Founder and CEO of One River School of Art + Design. Since 2012, One River has grown from one location in Englewood, NJ to fourteen schools in six states with a goal to “transform art education” across America. Prior to One River School, Matt was the CEO of School of Rock, where he built the company into the world leader in music education for kids. Prior to his experience with School of Rock, Matt held a variety of management positions in broadcasting, working for diverse media companies such as Clear Channel, CBS and Viacom. He is also active in promoting Autism awareness and supporting emerging artists and is passionate about collecting Contemporary Art with a focus on painting, mixed media and drawing.
