Business Ownership in the Arts

Twelve years ago I shifted my career after 20 years in the media business and I invested in a School of Rock franchise. At the time it was part of a major career shift for me where I also joined School of Rock as the CEO and committed myself to building an arts education business. Since then, I never looked back and changing the landscape of arts education has become a mission for me.

One of my main goals at One River is to continue to promote business ownership in the arts. Today, our franchise program is growing and we are partnering with people who look at One River in three ways:
A) A chance to shift their career and own a culturally important business in their community that fills a dramatic need
B) A chance to invest in a business that offers a compelling second income
C) A combination of the two.

I just returned from Chicago where we had our Grand Opening at One River School Lincoln Square and families from all over Chicago told me about the need for One River and how grateful they were. When I told them that One River was opened by a group of franchise partners, they were excited and started to share friends and family that they thought would be interested in various locations.

We remain interested in growing with people who are passionate about improving the lives of others through creative education. Today, we have opportunities in major metros across the U.S. that we think would be perfect for One River and I welcome you to share our story.

I am grateful for your support and I am happy to personally speak with anyone considering a One River School franchise. It’s an honor for me to share our purpose and opportunity with others.
