We Have Friends Worldwide

One of the great things about our business is we really get to know our customers.  During the recurring process of helping people learn to create things, we tap into what makes them tick and we get to spend time with them that helps to build real relationships.  This summer on the other hand, we have also enjoyed a slightly different experience.

Ana Salitan just spent time visiting from England and our whole team fell in love with her.  In no time she jumped right into our Street Art Painting class and wowed us by creating the fun and inspirational work above.  Her collage from her Mixed Media on Canvas class blew us away.  Then there’s Liya and Yuli Groberman, two adorable young girls visiting from Israel who are attending camp here with Chen Ariely from Tenafly.  Our Spirit Masks and Mural Paintings class made them feel comfortable right away and any concerns about not speaking English quickly evaporated in the universal ideas of creating art in an interactive setting.

I am wowed by how quickly we were able to assimilate new guests in our summer camps.  It helps when the people you are working with are open and interested in the possibilities we help to create.  One River has just built new friends many oceans away.
